Here we are again me dears. The nights are drawing in it's cold damp and dark but the salvias just keep on going.
The great blessing we have at the moment is that both of the massive trees have gone. Going into November the garden would be under a foot of dead leaves by now.
All in all the gardens are looking quite respectable and still provide a nice place to sit in when we get a bit of late sun.
We still have a few stalwarts giving us colour and joy. Bizzy Lizzy above and pelargonium below
Begonias are fab from May until the frosts.
I adore Brunnera this is Jack Frost it has the most wonderful leaves that will be replaced in the Spring with a mass of forget me not like flowers.
Japanese Anemone
Joy of Joys our Cymbidium Orchid has produced a flower spike.
Donny is over the moon that the orchid is going to flower again but he also wanted to mention the up and coming 'Fuchsia Fest' and this months sneak preview - Fuchsia 'Thalia' .
It will be interesting to see what November will have to offer and we look forward to seeing you back in the garden then.
But till then it's
Ttfn from Donny
and it's
Ttfn from me
Toodle Pip.
