Salvia Love and Wishes in situ.
There Tiz then me Darlins. I hope you have your thermals on. It's time to climb up into the Land Rover and Tour the rest of our vast Estate.
How these little beauties came trough the frost is a mystery
Well I think we all deserve a Hot Toddy after that but before we head of to the Tea Rooms there is just enough time for a reminder of the up and coming Delargo Towers Fuchsia Fest
This is Quasar which is looking fabulous at the moment.
That's it then me lovelies. Donny and I hope you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you in the garden next time when we will see what December is going to throw at us - Roll on Spring I say.
Till then It's Ttfn from Donny

Where would the garden be without salvias and fuchsias? Jx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteThey might not look as good as they did last month and we don't know what they will look like in December but what I do know is that they will never give in and will put up a bloody good fight right up to the end.
OMG you guys this went straight though my heart. Even the Biker exclaimed over the glorious blues, and all the color you're getting in December! Me, I think Theres nothing as lovely as a pure blue with a black stem...*swoon*
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have Mr Biker visit the garden, please say hello for me.
DeleteAs you can tell we love blue flowers
Spring = Blue and Yellow
Summer = Blue and Pink
Autumn = Blue and Purple

If you look carefully, there's almost always some colour in the garden no matter the time of year. However, one doesn't need to look very hard to find the colour in your autumn/winter garden!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Salvias! And Impatiens and Fuchsias, of course.
Winter colour aside, my favourite part is "A cutting of Salvia Salgoon Lake Blueberry (I think, there is no Label)". Hooray! This time because I'm not the only one who takes cuttings and forgets/neglects to label them assuming I'm going to remember what the cutting is from.
Yes and come January and February I am sure I will searching for every flower we can get. Having said that I don't think we have had a single day of the year without something in flower.
DeleteWe will see what the rest of Winter throws at us.
The Solstice is just over 2 weeks away - Roll On Spring.
