The Delargo Gardens March

Hello my lovelies. March is very late this year, well the garden post is. St David's Day has been and gone and we are almost in the middle of April as I type this but all of the photos were taken in March.

St. David's Day was on the 1st March

Wishing a belated Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus to all.

Daffodil and Tulip Lasagne; one slowly gives way to the other. 2 displays in 1 pot. In April it will just be Tulips.

these are two of my favourite Spring plants. Above is not a Dandelion it's Doronicum (Leopard's-bane) Below is not Forget-me-nots (Myosotis) but the wonderful Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost'. When the flowers are over you get amazing silver foliage right through the Summer and then next year it's back again. Fabulous

March was jolly and colourful in the garden and we moved into Spring with out a frost.

Now then me dears tiz time for a tour of our vast Estate.

We rarely show much of the front gardens so to make amends here is the fabulous cherry tree down the road.

and some very sweet Narcissus on our window sills.

I think that the cymbidium has decided to flower for ever.

There tiz me dears, Donny has almost forgiven me for being so late but he is still annoyed that I didn't manage to take one single photo of a Fuchsia for the entire month of March despite having a good few in bloom.

I will make up for it in April ready for your next visit but till it's -

Ttfn from Donny

and Ttfn from me
