  1. Oh, 'tis a glorious thing, I ween,
To be a regular Royal Queen!
    No half-and-half affair, I mean,
    No half-and-half affair,
    But a right-down regular,
    Regular, regular,
    Regular Royal Queen!

    1. You have a voice reminiscent of Lilian Baylis.
      Lilian Baylis didn't sing, dear.

  2. J'ai toujours admiré vos dignes reines, en particulier la reine mère :)
Naughty-boy Quentin, très amusant, était une reine de son propre royaume.

    1. As lovely as the Queen Mother was she was also formidable. Adolf Hitler is said to have called her "the most dangerous woman in Europe"

  4. I have great admiration for those who have the charisma and audacity to create and perform "One-man (person) shows!" At the start of reading the wiki article my brain immediately accompanied it with the song by the Pogues "Old Main Drag." Mostly because I'm X-gen and my scene was Romantic Goth with shades of punk and industrial.

    1. The courage, strength, audacity and tenacity it took for him to live his life openly and honestly in that period of time is extraordinary. He will always be a hero of freedom and equality to me.

    1. I like to have a little twist at the end. Quentin Crisp desccribed himself as ' one of the Stately Homos of England'.

    1. There are many pearls of wisdom from the pen of Mr.Crisp and his advice on dusting is just one that I have led my life by.
