ReplyDeleteThey certainly captured the essence of the period.
DeleteCountess Ilona Karolewna? Or Ms Scarlet popping out to bring the bins in?
ReplyDeleteStunning, one and all!
I am sure both Countess Ilona Karolewna? Or Ms Scarlet have someone to that for them. Countess Ilona looks like she has never seen a rubbish bin in her life but of course that could just be her drag name in which case she probably would.
DeleteA book about them titled “Divas and Lovers, the Erotic Art of Studio Manasse” by D.H. Lawrence is available at used book sites.
ReplyDeleteAustria and Czechoslovakia were at the forefront of art photography before the events of 1938 took it all away.
